History
2004
Litchi FoodService AB is founded. The idea is to bring the market a more efficient distribution solution of food and the company will soon focus on distribution and sales of Swedish food abroad.
The pilot customer will be the tour operator Fritidsresor with its Blue Village facilities.
2008
From previously delivering directly to small shops / hotels, the company now focuses on delivering mainly via local wholesalers, which means greater volume per delivery and a better local distribution network.
2014
Our company celebrates its 10th anniversary and at the same time takes the opportunity to shorten the name to Litchi Foods AB. We have a broad Scandinavian product portfolio and a steadily growing distribution network. Through our wide range of products and efficient distribution, we are the perfect solution for the local wholesaler.
2018
The first foreign subsidiary is started up in Greece, our largest market, with offices in Chania.
2019
Our Greek subsidiary is starting up an online shop that caters directly to consumers in Greece and Cyprus.
Ownership structure
Litchi Foods AB is today owned by 14 different Swedish companies and private investors with experience in food and tourism.
